B.C. seems to be a hunter/gatherer society. At no time have I seen them engaged in agriculture. So why would they need a calendar? It was the importance of knowing what time of year it was to the farmer that began the basis of the modern calendar.This is just another case of Peter inventing something of no need for his fellow men and placing a high importance in it.
