Wild turkeys are actually very smart birds. It was the reason Benjamin Franklin proposed making the Tube the national bird instead of the Eagle. Imagine what Thanksgiving would be like if Benjamin Franklin had gotten his way.

Elimination of the competition is more important than getting fed.
