Shauna finally asks the question I’ve been wondering about; why DO they want to go back to a planet that was all-but leveled by war? Sure, it might be home, but it’s probably never going to look or feel like the home they remember anymore. I mean, I sympathize, I really do, I just wonder if it’s really their only option like they seem to think.
As for Lem, he does have a point. Their home is not his home. Mostly-onion or not, he is still technically an Earthling, born(ish) and raised.
