When these pages were originally posted, in December 2013, Bad Machinery was running Monday–Thursday. Between the last page, with Lottie celebrating her thespian triumph, which was a Thursday page, and this one, which was a Monday page, there was a Friday filler strip.
It featured the girls taking a break from decorating a Christmas tree to play with a ouija board. Mildred asked the spirits to tell them the name of the man Lottie would marry. The ouija board spelled out “Teflon Eggpan”.
I’m not sure if that’s Welsh, as Mildew suggested, or if it predicts that Lottie’s greatest romance will be with non-stick cookware. Or perhaps the spirits are full of it.

Any bar that lets you drink with a bat is one to be avoided.

Were the last two panels reversed? Looks like a LHD car and those are rare in the UK if not illegal.
