For Gweedo, I’ve had that happen lots of times in lane-ending zones–someone tailgating me decides to use the opportunity to speed past after I swap lanes, and then I wind up seeing the same vehicle which passed me desperately trying to enter AT the lane-end (of course, I apply Sergio’s principle and ignore the request).
