I was deprived. Someone instilled me with the loser principle to get work over first before pleasure, Had to do my homework before playing or TV. Where was Child Services in the 60s?

Back in the 60’s you didn’t have 300 channels 24/7 of whatever interests you. You were lucky if the networks re-ran some of your favorite cartoons.

i used to take my homework to work with me and start it there,. the boss always allowed us to do it if we were not too busy

All my best work is done under deadline pressure. But so is all my worst work, so it’s a crapshoot…
