I remember my parents saying the same thing “doctors not working today”
Why DO parents lie to their kids? Especially things like ‘If you cross your eyes, they could set that way’.
I told my 7yr old son after seeing Juriassic Park, Spielberg actually had dinosaurs on an island.
Funny, never heard this one.
If this was on a Wednesday I’d beleive him
I only lied to my kids about one thing. That there was alcohol in my expensive chocolate and that’s why they couldn’t have any. My now-adult kids appreciate that I did not lie to them about things like Santa and the Easter Bunny.
