Bacon, eggs, scrapple, home fries, fresh sliced pineapple, assorted teas, Pirate Coffee, Bloody Mary’s made with V8, grits, Vanilla Lattes, and cream filled doughnuts. You’ll have to reach up high to get everything. I have the table raised way off the ground so nothing gets soaked!

I will have bacon, home fries a Bloody Mary and Pirate Coffee. Keep the Vanilla Latte for someone else. Oh…

it is going to be another nice day here today and since I got the lawn mowed yesterday at least I have that out of the way.

And my lawn will be a jungle soon, and my garden will be shot, and I have to pull my boat out so I can get home tonight! LOL!

Hola Dry y Cleo! I’ll take the vanilla latte and a couple of doughnuts. It’s 76 and cloudy here. I don’t think it will rain, we did get some rain yesterday though. Dry, are you getting that much rain? What part of your state are you in, north, south, east or west?

Hola Carmy. I was going to spray our bank for ivy and blackberries, but I tweaked my knee yesterday digging up Iris’s that needed dividing. It’s heck getting old.

(((((Cleo))))) Take it easy today and rest your knee. If you make it worse, you’ll be ending up at the doctor’s office.

Cleo and Carmy where’d ya’ get too? It’s lunchtime here, tomato soup and grilled cheese, and dill pickles and fresh watermelon. Gotta eat that fresh watermelon while I still can.

I’m busy doing stuff here in the casa. I’ll be checking in when I can.

There is now a tornado WARNING out so if I disappear, you’ll know why!

Thanks Cleo! All is well, still raining, wind is kicking up now. It’s really pretty neat, and it feels very tropically humid. A tornado was sighted by Doppler radar in the next county over, don’t know what happened, if it touched down or not. The Flood Watch has been extended into tmr. now.

I mean it is REALLY raining! We are in a (were) draught but this rain is coming down so hard and heavy most of it is going to run off.

Hey everybody! What’s for supper? I’m hungry and wet!

DRY Here’s a big fluffy towel and home-made lasagne for supper. Would you like red wine with that? There’s garlic bread too, and lots of fresh salad.

What would you like for dessert?

Shika to the rescue! With all that good food, I won’t have room for dessert!

How are you doing? Is Nicole headed your way at all?

Oh yes, and I’ll have a glass of red wine, please. That goes so well with lasagne!

Nicole is blowing a lot of wind around, but it’s been just a pleasant fall day otherwise. We had a gorgeous sunset with a blue sky and pink and silver clouds.

Good! I’m off tomorrow, so it will be nice to have some sunshine.

I’m off tmr. too, and this is supposed to clear out of here by noon and get sunny, cooler on the weekend though, sigh!

I went up and looked at my garden when the rain slacked off and it is drenched, and it’s on a bit of a slope! It’s not raining now, but they say it is going to get bad again over night. And I’m betting school will be cancelled when the creeks rise, we have a lot of creeks by roads in the country. Of course, my kids are out of high school now, so it doesn’t effect me.

Our new challenge is vanity lighting. I wanted side lighting, but our mirors and a wall make one side of one mirror only allowing a back plate of 3 inches and I have only found one that will work, so may need to use overhead lighting instead which make shaving and makeup more challenging. sigh. The only thing I wanted was good lighting and we are already compromising on it, drat.

I ordered a flag also! Cleo, I hope you can get your bathroom lighting done as you would like. I think we have 6 or 7 lights above our double bathrooms sinks. It’s way too bright for me. Luckily there is a window on the opposite side of the bathroom. I prefer the natural light better. Dry, do we need to send out a rescue boat for you? Shika, sorry I missed you.

No I’m okay now! It’s raining again though, hard! Got soaked coming home! Had a flat, etc.

I am off to bed as well with new stress levels concerning our bathroom remodel, which is spawning new projects. groan
