It is sunny and cold here. It is 28 degrees and everything is covered in frost.

It’s 31 here, partly cloudy, real feel according to Accu Weather is 26. And what do you have planned today, cleo?

I have to run to town to do some errands and to pick up some items I need to make an onion braised beef brisket which takes two days to prepare. How about you Dry?

cleo, Spokane was WHITE! As in

It is 43 and light overcast here. When will that brisket be ready???

Well I have a baby shower to go to, and then I think I’ll head out your way for that beef brisket! Care to share the recipe? Sounds delicious!

I’ll tell you all about the night. I guess we can mention food, since it’s not breakfast. :-)

BTW We sang “Silent Night” for u-tube. As soon as I get the link, I’ll share it with you guys, okay?

We had roast beef, lots of winter veggies and delicious squash. Sorry I can make it sound gourmet, this was catered food for a college after all. But it was very good, tender, tasty and served with wine. The dessert was yummy, but hard to describe. Some sort of plum pudding-fruit cake combo with fresh sliced peaches and pears and cherries on top.

After the talent show, where I giggled my way though my part and had everyone laughing, we students watched A Muppet Christmas, but the DVD was scratched and so we ended up watching “The Vicar of Dibbly” after many jokes from fellow students. It was hilarious. I got home after midnight.

I can’t wait for the brisket. JFri It takes two days for cleo’s recipe. You might want to have a snack to tide you over, lol

Well my friend whose baby shower I attended today, shouldn’t need to buy much. She sure received a lot of really nice “loot!” And I even won a door prize!

Shika I won a roll of Christmas wrapping paper, gift tags, and an ornament. Considering I rarely win anything, I think I was pretty lucky! Everything is nice too. And some good “horsie doofers” were served also!

Are “horsie doofers” like Or Doves? I like those. Really tasty.

Yes they are Hors Douvrves. I just like to call them that! :-) They had mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat, pastries with bacon and cheese, or bacon and ham, little bread squares with a delicious spinach spread, all kinds of crackers and dips, and lots of cookies, pie, and pastries also.

Yummy! I knew what you meant. I was being funny.
