We are supposed to get very high winds today, like those on March 2. Did you get those JFri? I did down in Coos Bay. I thought that it was going to rip the roof off of my hotel.

We are now getting that heavy rain that you were talking about Dry. I hope that we do not lose power, that always sucks.

I don’t think we will lose power here. If this was all snow, then yeah.

While I am thinking of it, that Potage recipe, if I don’t have lima beans, will butter beans do as a substitute?

I must be getting old…potage recipe? But yes, butter beans can be substituted for limas. If you are using uncooked beans, butter beans may take longer. I am still trying to place the recipe!

Yes I can see how you would forget! It was all of Feb. when you sent it to me! About 3 weeks ago!

The massive rain they forecast for us disappeared mid morning and it has been mostly sunny since.

Cache went to the doctor this morning and he is doing GREAT! Good news: he can run some this weekend. Bad news: he goes in next Wednesday for surgery on his other knee.

JFri. Guilty as charged. I went AWOL yesterday because I was out from morning to night, including two Ash Wednesday services.
