Where is everybody? I am “flitting” between my toon tour and my 2010 Financial Report that is due in the Capitol at the end of this month.

Howdy Dry! I will be leaving soon. LilG’s son’s bleeep (as he calls it) has arrived from Alaska and I have to go down to the docks to pick it up and put it in storage.

At least you are putting toons ahead of a mere Financial Report. I can tell that you are a woman who knows how to prioritize.

oh mrs p is sick sick sick please pray for her. shes running feaver, hurts all over, sounds kind of like the flu, but we are not even going to say those words nor think them she is not sick we are going to speak it away!

so i have 14 pages of questions to review and aboout 100 pages of notes to look over for a test on wend. then to top it off i have a test in a diffrent class on thurs oh and i have to have a book read and a ton of journals written some time this week. yuck!

HEY TABBY! Hope Mrs. P gets better. You should probably e us that website address of your friend, you know? Don’t post it here!

We haven’t heard from Marg since the 8th, here or in emails, neither has anyone else, it seems. And you know how good she is about teliing us when she would be away for any length of time.

my dog hates hw as much as i do shes sitting her with her head on my lap trying to get me to love on her. poor baby

yes we still have the kitty cat. now we have two kitten type cats. one a male and one a female so we are saving up to fix them. lol ill send the email.

yes i know how marg is about telling us she will be out… should we be worried?

oh my goodness! never heard of red and rover till today, that is so funny! love it. now if only my dog would eat it. hmmm. shes to bleeep smart and to bleeep picky. some dog foods she picks out all of one kind and wont eat it. shes a pain. but i love her. hey i could get trip to eat it! he eats anything that includs pickles. he takes his flea meds with no trouble, just chews them right up. hes strange.

d a n g i t!!! i hate when i do that! turns out my test i thought was thursday is tues as in tomorrow! oh gosh!

Tabby I can’t believe you never read “Red and Rover”. You would SO love that strip! It’s really a cute story, and Rover is just adorable. You should be glad Trip takes his pills like that! I have fought more dogs and cats to take their pills and have scars to prove it, LOL!

Dry i know what its like to have a dog who wont do it. i was so amazed when i got Trip and he just eats them up. when we found him… better yet when he found me, he was starving to death, i was cooking bbq the first day he was here, and i droped a piece of chicken, and not intentily either, and before i could grab it, b/c i had the bone in it, he had swolled that thing whole. so i guess that has something to do with it. his brain hasn’t learned that hes not going to starve anymore, that tabs going to take care of him. we have one dog, his name is Ace. we try everything with him, we try chees, we try miking it into wet dog food, we try shoving it donw his throught everything! it makes me nuts. last time i gave it to him he ate the cheese and droped the pill out, it fell between the cracks of the poarch and there i have to go under the spider infested poarch to fetch the $40 pill! i got it and i shoved it down that dog so good. lol shame on me i know.

im going to have to start reading red and rover.

Some of those pills must be really bitter. It amazes me how they are so smart, you can wrap a yard of lunch meat or cheese or something around a tiny little pill, and by gawd, don’t they still get every morsel and then spit the pill out! LOL!

Dry LOL yep its so true. they always seem to amaze me!

everyone keeps telling me that may missed her calling. that she should have been a cop dog. Mr. L was in the room the other night and had a crackln (if you dont know what it is you are gonna have to look it up and then come down here and buy u some) well he had it in his mouth and i mean way in the back, just sucking on it. because hes toothless. well he came upfront said something to me, went to the stove or fridge something then went back to his room. may met him in there stuck her nose in his face and started nudging him till he gave her a bite. he said her nose is just too good!

Tabby HA HA! I do know what crakclin is! Don’t forget I did live in the South for 5 years! Sure miss it too!

oh God. Mrs P thinks she has a blader infectiong or a uti or whatever. not good. shes in a ton of pain right now, what do i do? shes been in bed all day sleeping on and off. poor thing cant even walk to the bathroom by herself right now shes hurting so bad.

Tabby did you call her doctor?

Hello Tabby! When I had my dogs I used to use cream cheese or peanut butter wrapped around pills. They worked well.

her doctor up and left and went to CA. So right now shes out of a doc. but she has some meds from last time this happened, and if it gets worst im taking her to the hospital or something. i cant have her getting sicker.

Did you make it home safe? looks and sounds like we are about to get some bad weather. 3 of the dogs are at the door scratching to come in. they are chickens.

Tabby no the dogs are smart! :-) Yes I made it home safely. Usually when a doctor goes away, there is another one “on call to take his place in emergencies. I know it’s very nerve wracking to see someone you care about in pain, or even if it’s just a stranger.

Tabby A bladder infection is serious. It can go to the kidneys. Mrs. P should go to a clinic. Do you have those down there? My mom had that and was hospitalized, so it is good to look after it.

Dry the doc whos in his place now is a tottle a word. he didnt want to do anything for her when we went last time. but if need be there is a clinc down the road and a hospital down the road shes gonna go to one r the other dont you worry.

Cleo ill have to try the peanut butter one with may she used to love pb you are smart

Hi Dry I am flitting between posts and reading comics. I’ve been out all day.

I too have been out and may go for a walk.

It was a lovely day. Sunny, after a week of rain.

First real spring like day so far. I’ve enjoyed it.

It was a nice day here as well, warmish, no rain and walkable.

Just checked it’s 50 here at 8:30. it’s supposed to be in the 60’s by Friday! :-D
