It was a sad ending to a

regular hockey season. But we secured first place in the US Division AND the Western Conference so I guess they took the night off before the playoffs begin next weekend.

Dry i dont want to be a teacher no more!

so i went for a bike ride yesterday and i thought it was only 3 miles total well i was wrong it was 5 miles. and you know what the only thing that hurts is my bottom from that very old and small seat i have and my sholder, which already hurt. so im doing good.

i love this weather! so ready for aug. june and july so i can go swimming!

I wish I still had my bike. It’s getting nice here now, sun’s coming out.

It’s funny, until i wrote that Gracie was smart, the Spanish word for girl came out as “chica”. I guess that “chicks” aren’t smart, but muchachas are.

Dry, you have NO bike? I still have my ‘96 Specialized Ground Control A-1 mountain bike I bought when it was new. After years of riding off road with it, it isn’t as pretty as it used to be but it still works great. It was the first model bike to have front & rear suspension.

The punchline in Spanish comes out as

“You would like a TV role?”

It is funnier in the English version.

Howdy all! I am back. Had great dim sum in Richmond. I doubt that I will ever shop at Ikea again. The wait to return anything is ridiculous. When I came in and grabbed a number they were waiting on #15, 16 and 17. A half hour later the same three people were with the same three cashiers and I was #24. Fortunately they began moving faster once those three were gone.

I heard about JFri’s infamous bike. Do you think he likes it? :-)

How was your salad Dry? does your husband eat salad too, or do you have to cook “man food” for him? (Maybe he cooks for himself?)

My last post didn’t post! Shika, man food! I eat a salad every night. We eat our main meal and finish up with a salad.

LOL cleo I think I know that. But let’s face it, many men won’t eat salad. Or maybe just in small towns that I know.

It just occurred to me that Dry makes big delicious salads, but I didn’t know if that was the whole meal or what.

Salad is a good thing, right Shika!

“Dry”s Scrapple Salad”

1 pound Scrapple 1 pound sliced ribeye, cooked rare 1 pound bacon, cooked crisp, fat saved for dressing 1 pound mozarella

Combine bacon fat and red wine vinegar along with 1 head of romaine, toss until well blended with other ingredients and serve with a garnish of deep fried mushrooms and onions.

Tonight t was mixed greens, baby spinach, green olives, mushrooms (fresh not cooked or fired!), sweet red pepper chunks, fresh garlic, fresh seafood, stuffed hot cherry peppers, red wine vinegar, olive oil, cumin, oregano, tumeric, fresh ground pepper, proscutto ham, and I think that’s it, oh and cucumbers!

Shika I am surprised at you! Living in a small town does not make you eat like a hillbilly hick! For shame! ;-0

Dry I grew up in a small town. You are right. It was an over generalization.

Anyways, my BIL loves his meat, although he has cut back because of his high cholesteral. He is much healthier now.
