I can only speak for myself, but at the end I wanted to stand up, salute, and chant USA! USA! USA!

Oh sure, look at any dog when it is outside in the right conditions. The dog will totally assume the “I got this” posture. At least if it’s a male. Totally. And I swear they’re also thinking “I rolled in something really rank this morning. I reek and I’m ready to roar.”

I liked the panel where Cleo was Supper Basset. Now that can explain the exceeding sensitivity of her nose to kibble.

    Oh my gosh…..

    I didn’t realise I hadn’t yet posted a Cleo link for today’s forum!

    Sorry, Nighthawks and Stel!!

    Hello all!

If by any chance, you’ve wandered here from the current Ballard Street strip, or via someone’s profile,

    and you’re wondering what’s going on…..

You’ve found the place to post your comments for

the March 16th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

Which you can read on Sherpa:

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

I totally remember SuperBasset from my childhood…

    This is a perfect rendition.

I remember, when I got my first glasses, at age seven, asking my father whether some people wouldn’t be able to recognise me…

cos no one seemed to know that Bark Kent was SuperBasset,

and the only difference I  could see was his glasses…. and maybe the fur over his eyes was a bit more groomed.

    Speaking of “super” dogs….

    Dennis and Liverlips… I agree….

and besides all that, Monty found out last September that he’s 1/16 greyhound….

    (his mother’s father’s mother’s father was a purebred)

and I think it has gone to his head.

Just posted a few things elsewhere….

and in case anybody else is interested in this stuff….

the “gets” error seems to have been taken care of.

About two days into it, I wrote to the webmaster, but I never got a reply….

and just the other day, I forgot again, and a comment wouldn’t post.

But it does seem to be OK now….

Unless, of course, I try to post this and it gets stuck.

Could be a bird in a ridiculous-looking costume.

All I could think of after viewing today’s C & C, was thank goodness cows can’t fly!

Pretty cool animation, Stel and NH. Love the way SuperBasset flies through the clouds.

Since this is animation Friday, when are we going to see one featuring one of the Cliffords, e.g., Stephanie (AKA Stomy Daniels)? ☺︎

I’m not sure that being able to smell Kibble at 100 miles is a super power. Seems to me every dog that’s ever owned me could do that.
