    Welcome, everybody!

    It’s such a nice day…..

I thought we could grab one of those picnic tables over near the swings,

and sit outdoors to post our comments on

the June 8th  2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”

For anybody who doesn’t know, or just needs a quick link….

you can read it on Sherpa

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Oh gosh… it must be the late Spring this year….

all the young men’s fancies are still…. well, you know…..

even if some of the young men are well into their seventies.

Its so cute. It sure looks like Henry is courting Lila Lee.

It’s been so many years since his wife died…. it’s good to see that he still has some springtime in his heart.

And Lila tilts her head like a teenager….

does she really not know, or is she coyly pretending?

Oh Lila… he’s trying to look macho for you.

    I know it wasn’t too bright….

and the panting and the hands-on-knees posture don’t exactly add to the effect.

The fine he’ll probably get if Officer BatPug saw him do it makes the gesture look even more ridiculous…

But can’t you just tell him how impressed you are, that he’d walk through bushes for you?

Or do you still hold out hope of finding someone actually intelligent?

It’s a nice thought… but the clock is ticking, you know.

First I’m thinking “I knew it. I knew Cleo was going to deliver like the faithful hound she is.” Then I thought “Oh, Cleo, I’m so disappointed in you.”, followed by “Somebody called it yesterday.” It saddens me to have to say this but, if I’m Claude, Cleo is in deep kimchi. Sentient, talking dog or not, Claude is obliged to establish who is in charge. Who here is physically more powerful? I’m beginning to fear that our beloved canine is the prima donna doggie diva after all.

Cleo has ultimate faith in the power of her vote.

Liverlips… you are just starting to realise that Cleo is a prima donna doggie diva?

If you go to Doggiepedia.com and look up “prima donna,” I believe there’s a picture of Cleo right there.

And her parking space on the lot, at Cleo and Company Productions, isn’t marked “Cleo” …. it says " #1 Diva."

I love how Cleo picks up her sunglasses to see if they’re still on the island. Cute.

In the last frame, it looks like Claude is looking up at the coconuts hoping one will fall on Cleo’s head.
