Clara thinks Cleo is pretty amusing (at this moment, anyway). What about “Cleveland Coots Quarterly”? “Clara Clifford Living,” “Bassett Life”? Something for each of them.
My favorite part was the telephone pole foot pegs.
P.S. The Clifford-mobile looks like it has a blown head gasket (put a little covfefe in the flux capacitor, and it should be good for another several parsecs or more).
Claude is thinking of a way to break the news to Clara that he secretly enrolled in one of those Readers Sweepstakes and had to subscribe to 45 magazines in order to enter. Poor mailman!

Howdy, pardners…!
We’re moseyin’ over to Gerry and Randolph’s house,
to check out her vegetable garden, and his new pony, and to post our comments onthe July 1st 2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”
Which you can read on Sherpa
http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
They’ve set out a nice little picnic on their two redwood table and bench sets…
and Randolph has mounted up, to put his pony through its paces for us…
um… I mean its pace.
Well… if it has a pace.
Gerry told me the thing she likes best about Starbiscuit (cos he just named her that) is that she stays put.
He used to have one named Crankyboots that rolled unevenly on hand carved wheels,
and it didn’t do the tomatoes and lettuces any favors.
The thing she doesn’t like is having to grow an extra row of carrots for her…
but as Randolph points out, they don’t have to buy much… (well… any, actually) hay.
And she also doesn’t like that Scuffy can’t hide his jealousy of the family’s new pet.
C’mon Scuffy…. come over here and have a Milk Bone…
and take a look at Cleo.
Right…. a whole comic about a dog.
No horses.

Scuffy, if you do that to your average horse, you get kicked across the pasture.
But Starbiscuit is too sweet, lucky you.

ATTENTION: @ML & @PC!
I will be in Salmon, ID dining at the Shady Nook restaurant on the evenings of:
July 20 – before a Main Salmon raft trip, and
July 27 – between the Main Salmon and a Middle Fork of the Salmon trip.
https://tinyurl.com/ShadyNook
Please make the “short hop” down from Montana and join me and a dozen or more river rats for dinner.
(I’m assuming @PC and @ML are the only ones even remotely close enough to invite).

I never get tired of seeing JvA draw dogs who are just totally selling out on attacking something. With legs akimbo, it’s hilarious.
