Godfrey’s repressed desires are coming out! After all the years of walking on a leash, who can blame him for picking up a bit of a fetish?

This one will have to wait for the side-by-side from Susan Sunshine. It’s too big an image to display all or most of one and any more than a slice of the other. Looks like fun, though.

A tiny spoiler….. no, as far as I can tell, I-Grr’s hump doesn’t change sides between panels…. LOL

That would have been great…. but it looks like his hump isn’t visible enough at that angle.

Nighthawks? Stel? Which of you did this puzzle?

I know it’s Stel’s poster, but Nighthawks does the puzzles.

However…. the link at the bottom to today’s comments sure looks like a StelBel sort of thing.

Meanwhile…. this puzzle is BIG.

I recommend, as ever, that you at least click on my side by side to see it bigger, in a new window. If it shows a little plus sign, click it again, to enlarge it.

Better yet…. right-click, copy and paste it into whatever drawing program you use, such as MS Paint, so you can mark the differences.

Joke’s on me. I waited for your side-by-side and I still only have seven. I must be too mature for these games.

BTW… I don’t recall having seen this poster being rerun lately….

or having done it as a puzzle before.

   1.  Top panel: FRANKENBASSET is pronounced frang-kuh n-BAS-it. Bottom panel: FRANKENBASSET is pronounced frong-kuh n-bas-ET.

   2.  Top: iCleo’s hump is on his right shoulder.Bottom: Nighthawks blew his chance to pay tribute to classic gag by failing to move hump to iCleo’s other shoulder.

   3.  Top: iCleo’s tongue is just a tongue. Bottom: iCleo’s tongue is getting longer because he’s thinking about “the one in the turban.”

   4.  Top: Question: How many bassets does it take to remake a Mel Brooks’ movie in Cleo & Co. style? Bottom: Answer: 5. 4 to appear on the film poster, and 1 to accuse Harvey “Nighthawks” Weinbasset of sexual harassment.

   5.  Top: Does it appear I’ve forgotten to include Susan Sunshine in the Highly Technical portion of this non solution? Bottom: Yes, but I’ve included her in the infamous No. 5 “I’m Out of Ideas For This Non Solution Running Gag” spot, so maybe she’ll give me a pass?

   6-9.  Highly technical. Only MontanaLady (aka San Diego Granny); Perkycat, Snow Queen of the Great Northwest; SHE MC, who watches Mel Brooks’ movies with both English AND Dutch subtitles; and StelBel, Sr. V.P. of Dithering, Tampering & Malfunctioning Hardware, would understand.

This was a tough one. I only got 7.

I’ll have to agree with Rotifer that the “hump” joke was missed. So, all of us who looked for the moving hump should count that as a difference! We looked, didn’t we?

Nighthawks, Stelbel: Maybe I’m just evil, but someday you might think about putting out a nine-differences puzzle with no differences. It will drive us crazy trying to spot them. Or maybe put in one obvious difference to get it started. {^¿*}
