One can get obsessed by these projects. But that looks like a tasty meal that you are passing up, Glenn. Maggie worked hard on it, and invited Rick and Andrea. Put the plans aside and have a sip of wine, relax.

Cleo has the cat-chasing skills of the typical wobbly basset. And his techie skills are on a par with Wile E. Coyote’s with his ever-promising Acme weapons.

Maggie would rather talk about the New Edition. ……. (dating myself, I know.)

    Welcome, everybody!

You’ve found the place! This is where we comment on

the Feb 11th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

(and this time it really is the 11th!)

    Read it on Sherpa….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

I know we had a strip that started out with this premise…. but this is a new one, isn’t it Nighthawks?

I can’t find that one to compare.

In any case…. Klaude… if that’s still his name…. may just be a worthy opponent for our Little Miss RPG…. the Belle of the Bazooka.

She’s gotten a bit cocky lately… because no one tells her “No”, and really means it….. or fights back.

But to be defeated by a kitty cat? That might take the shine off the Sherman tank.

BTW… when they make laws such as Alexi linked to regarding drones… are tiny drones from the toy store included? That seems kind of silly.

Then again…. Cleo’s drones are tiny… but it probably makes a difference that they’re weaponised.

Anyhow…. we’re supposed to be meeting at Maggie and Glenn’s house today….

She said she’s putting together a cheese tray, and a vegetable platter…. and asked whether we’d like cupcakes too.

I said I’d never known this bunch to turn down cupcakes!

    It’s so nice of her.

Glenn’s a nice guy too…. I think if he mentions the new addition, I’ll just tell him I don’t know anything about the New Math, so I’ll stick with the old addition, thank you.

Speaking of which…. Kenny Rogers and the First Edition have pretty much nothing in common with the New Edition…. a very young R&B group from the 80’s.

Neither really seems like Maggie’s cup of tea, to me. She seems more inclined to like first editions… of books, that is.

Oh… and Nighthawks… hope you realised I was only talking about making soup yesterday to get to a pun… terrible as it was…. and not a recipe.

That evil cat also has Cleo homing missiles that are designed to sneak up behind Cleo and spray cat scent all over her.

my mom used to say to me : “that’s enough of that, funny guy!”

referring to my life long habit of smart ass comments to what’s going on around me..

    clearly , I haven’t changed.

Alex, for god sake, DON’T clam up…….

that is, unless you’re talking about a clam soup recipe

Poor Cleo. She’s meeting her match! I’d like to know how that evil cat even gets in the house to take over Claude’s chair?

Another new cartoon today! Nighthawks, you rock! (Although, I still get lots of pleasure from Cleo’s reruns as well.)

My coffee’s ready. Now it’s time to settle back and relax with some Clam Chowder and cupcakes.
