Is that Gordon’s water bottle on the shelf? Or is it a small helium tank to keep the dog inflated?

Also less fun. Nothing beats a dog’s greeting when you come home.

with a pretend dog, at least it wont pee on the carpet or slobber everywhere, but isnt that where all the fun is?

I’m sure I’ve mentione one of those particular benefits before.

Why would Cleo want to do anything? I can see by Claude’s empty hands that there’s not one nugget of kibble involved.

That looks like a film festival not to be missed at the Parahound. Audrey Hepbasset just emanated class.

Gordon has a point, especially considering the manners of Ballard Street dogs. Now if all the dogs were like Cleo, that would be different. So obedient! What a good girl!

    Hullo, all….

    Good to see everybody!

I think my internet started working again just because it knows someone is coming tomorrow to fix it.

Problems refuse to show themselves if they sense that they’ll be taken away…

Any car knows that… the little things that plague it hide from every mechanic….

and children and pets are never sick at the doctor or vet’s office..

But we’re not here to talk about my computer…. we’re here to comment on

the April 10th  2019 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    See it on Sherpa:

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy

Ah, Cleo…. it’s always good to know your strengths…

in fact, this is one that you play to every day.

In fact… hmmm…. I’m pretty sure that just a week or so ago….

you proved you could also “stay.”

    Wow, I found it…. somehow I remembered it was on a Sunday….

    http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy&uc_full_date=20190324

Do I get any memory credit back now, Nighthawks?

Oh… while I have you… hope you read my explanation yesterday about my ISP…

boring, I know… but you’ve mentioned a few times that I should switch.

Hmmm… I think somebody must have told me to “stay” in my chair….

I could swear it was an hour ago just a few minutes ago…..

    And speaking of old links…

The very next day after Cleo did a similar trick to today’s….

A 2019 Ballard Street strip…. one of the last before we went into re-runs… had much in common with the one above.

I’d like Gordon to see that there are many pets like his in the neighborhood….

Starting with Arthur, on March 25th 2019….

I just went back and found my post for that day….

excuse me Nighthawks and Stel, and those who saw it a couple of weeks ago, for posting all this here,

but it was a lot of work digging it all up…. might as well share it again:

There are quite a few handmade pets on Ballard Street….

Arthur might want to go see who’s hanging out at the Handmade Dog Park, over on Lincoln, just up the hill from Ballard St at Cherry.

He could get a few ideas for adding some extra “zip” to his pet.

I know Gary takes his dog there…

And I saw Chester and Ida there with Bobo just last Saturday.

    https://assets.amuniversal.com/03a07c10dcfe01334ffe005056a9545d.gif

Of course, we have plenty of other animals in the neighborhood without so much as a wheel…

    https://assets.amuniversal.com/6f0725507e5601332316005056a9545d.gif

so perhaps Arthur is quite content with things as they are… and I don’t blame him.

Glad to see Gordon enjoying his doggy…

I too was wondering what that was below… it looks like a small fuel tank, but I don’t see an engine.

Oh boy! I beat @katina.cooper! I must be here early!

The shape of Claude’s head has been reminding me of something for quite a while. I just figured it out.

It’s Mr. Potato Head (plus eyeglasses made from the rear view mirror stolen from a ’57 Studebaker minus the Groucho Marx mustache)

(That’s Mr. Potato Head to you, @nighthawks)

The first thing I noticed was that Claude is wearing the team colors for the Browns on his shirt.

The second thing I noticed was that Claude is wearing the team colors for the Chargers on his sweat pants.

Oh! The horrors! Everyone knows you don’t mix team colors. Well, at least Claude isn’t out in public.

Practice what you know. Cleo’s been practicing that for a while.

There might be less upkeep, but it isn’t near as much fun!

I’m having trouble deciding between Gordon’s pretend dog and Cleo — they both seem to know the same tricks…
