We feel you, Barry. Many of us put coffee as "priority #1, after which all other priorities will be listed.

Stel Bel has given us another horror poster. But I don’t think Susan and Montana Lady need to hide behind the couch, this blob seems fairly stationary.

And I never saw a blob with such a nice collar! (Is it purplie, or just blue?) The film is fairly slow, until the Blob gets up to shake, and all those human looking fleas get tossed about.

Of course you can’t stop it since it’s unmovable!

Susan and ML – Make yourselves comfortable behind the couch; that basset takes all the space on it.

The human version – well; it’s not half bad – the basset looks totally messed up.

    Welcome everybody!

    Yet another horror film?

StelBel seems obsessed with scaring me… this time on

the July 16th  2020 “CLEO and COMPANY”

    On Sherpa, of course.

This time it’s an impressively giant blobhound…. thanks, Dennis, for checking out the movie… maybe I can go, after all.

    I’ve even heard they’re just misunderstood…. but … um…

I still don’t think I’m gonna get close enough to try and understand one.

It has kinda pretty fur, though…. chestnut color…

but that whole eating-people thing is unappealing…… you know?

It’s not even terrorizing any doggies… so I guess Steven McHound and the rest are saving their human pals… or owners?

    Man’s best friend, indeed!

    Steve McHound was so young.

Hard to remember him from before he looked tough and rather well-worn.

    I might have known there’d be a human knock-off!

But … but… the blob in it isn’t human.

    What is it? I think it’s … a …. a…. I guess it’s a blob….

    Whooda thunk?

    Look!

It seems to me that the title of this film just cries out for a basset presence.

Loved the blob. One of the best B movies. Right up there with Them! Stel’s poster reminded me of a Great Dane post during a heat wave 5 – 6 years ago:

    Good Morning Ballardeers!

125 Q days and it looks like it’s gonna be a lot longer. I need new happy pills.

Y’all be safe out there! (((((((((((HUGS))))))))))

I did see The Blob many years ago. I don’t remember hiding behind the couch. I don’t even remember the movie, so I guess it wasn’t too scary.

You sure can tell The Blob is a basset. Big Jowls and slobber all over the place.

And I guess you can tell it’s a horror movie because all the women are running and screaming. And you can see the blond one falling and the monster reaching for her…..

One of my co-workers left work early today. His daughter and her friend came in from Calif. to visit for a long weekend. Turns out the friend tested positive for Covid so he immediately left work to get tested. He will have the results in 2 days. In the waiting period, there are 10 of his coworkers “biting our nails” etc. etc.
