Maybe she wouldn’t be so critical if you hadn’t bought it at the auction for $12,000.

I like it.

I don’t know about that, but I do see that there isn’t continuity in the flow of your art from the roll on the ground to the end hanging from the branch. It just doesn’t speak to me.

She’ll accept it as art as soon as you can sell it for five figures.

I’ve seen a lot less being appreciated as art.
