Elvis is just breathing hard from carrying so many tomatoes…. It’s a long way from the Farmer’s Market to the Tiki. He’s had some water now, and he’ll be fine after he has some kibble, and lies down for a while….
Bev…. I’m thinking 3:33, if that doesn’t change your plans too much.
At 3:11 I’m getting a shipment of some marvelously bright new XTI color-changing glitter that’ll make all the tasting room patrons think they’ve already had too much wine!
I can leave a note for Stel in her tomato basket, and ask her….you two would be the first in town to wear it!
Bev, here’s the XTI Mobile Tomato Harvester and Land Cruising Resort & Casino. It will also strip mine potatoes and turn them into home fries or fast food fries.
I have that happen all the time. I have had folks walk up pull out a chair and sit down.“Hi, officer can I ask you a question?”My mouth is full of food so I just sit there in the moment and grin.I do however have some pepper spray and a taser if he wants a demonstration. Please unless it is an emergency just wave we know you like us but let us eat our donuts first.
I think my pasta water is boiling- got to go fix the rest of breakfast; LOVED the Lego demoOh, Bev, anytime anyone refers to something in the previous day, I also check back to see what I missed. My IE has not liked remaining on when idle sometimes (with updates).
Let’s take a look at a typical day for Larry Chambers…
…a day full of trials and tribulations. Just getting dressed in the morning is a challenge! Is it any wonder that he lets off a little steam at day’s end?
I just had sets of colored blocks that we all played with growing up (may have been my brother’s or a hand-me-down) and sometimes a variety of sizes and colors of marbles were the people in a whole city. When my kids were young there were erector sets (some with motors) and when grandkids started there were actually kits to build robots.
Most kids now have so many toys that they could not name them all themselves.
Larry Chambers doesn’t realize it is rude to look down at a lady from that angle. Enda Chambers will have a few words with her tragically social hubby after she orders her usual double yak burger with garlic and onion and parsnip fries with a prune shake. Edna is tragically anti -social.
Good afternoon Ballardeers. I am making a rare appearance before my meds wear off. I’m about to doze off as I type……Good to be back in my humble abode with my trusty laptop.
Hope you like it…. I think they’re beeoootiful. I’m sorry about that tiny smear, Bev… I don’t think the Monkey realised I had a polish brush in my hand when he made you laugh….
This stuff really does stay on…. but i’ll ear off in…. a …. well…. a while….
Susan, I’ve never had a pedicure OR a manicure. Pretty please, may I have my nails made all sparkly too? Say around 2:59 pm or 3:13 tomorrow? And some luscious tomatoes too?
Stel, as usual, your postings are spot on. I hope that you and Bev have a fabulous time. Shall I send Prince Mua and Kitty Kitty Bang-Bang to pick you up?
Project Runway just started recording; models all sparkling in diamonds and they will do an evening look. As sparkley as Susan’s Pedicures (and her feet are similar to mine – with little toes turned under from many pointed shoes). I seldom put polish on toes because I like to keep them extra short. Finger nails do not get a trim until they’re 1/4" past the quick, so I used to even paint motifs (no stick ons for me). I mostly just layered a pink with a sparkle tho’. Now that I do Medieval, I use clear or pale pink (maybe just a little sparkle, like current Hanson’s “Shell We Dance”.
Larry has always taken the initiative. He’s not your average, lay of the land, kinda guy. It’s more hit the ground running and try and stop me if you can. Suddenly, after reading the 2010 Standard for the Americans with Disabilities Act, Larry realized his best efforts in combating his severe fear of failure would be to step up and step out. As you can see not every opportunity is ripe for the process, nevertheless Larry takes his chances. Shirley knows in most cases its harmless, short term for sure and she doesn’t want her lunch getting cold. Larry will be back in a moment. He’ll embellish the story, draw deep philosophical meaning from the encounter and vow to keep up the good work. Shirley’s plan is to feed the goldfish, dust, nap and have a light dinner. They are perfect for each other.

Stel and Bev….tomatoes in the salon kitchen, as usual on a Thursday morning….
mostly small ones cos they seem to travel better.
Bev could have taken hers from here when she left tonight…. but I guess we were both tired, and forgot.
Note to Stel:
Hi Stel....Bev made an appointment for both of you at the salon ....It's at 3:33.... Hope you can come.
She said just for pedicures, but I've allowed time for mani-pedis cos when you see the new glitter, you'll both want them!
Note to Monkey:
Hi Monkey...
Cherry tomato pies again! Also delivering 48 banana cream to the Tiki tomorrow, so we can have a Yak and Dak 'n' Pie special.
PLEASE, this time, don't eat them ALL!
