To all my friends on the East Coast: Hunker down and stay warm. And please send some snow out here. HooDoo Ski needs 83 inches to open and they have 7 3/4 inches!

Tony must have been in an awfully uncomfortable position, if he prefers being upside down on his head, stuffed in a tight corner behind a couch, breathing dust bunnies.

It can’t really have been a gradual transition….

I think somebody startled him….. and it scared him so much he darted behind the couch…he even left his plate of appetizers….

and you know how much he loves Hazel’s crab puffs.

Then again…. I’ve seen the Monkey sleeping upside down, hanging from the chandelier chains, or on his desk, with one foot on the floor and his head resting in an open drawer.

I guess “comfortable” is different for everyone.

Comfortable for me right now would be bed….

You gonna be OK, little Monkeys?I know I know….of course you are..

If a plate is too heavy, ask the Fireman for help, OK?

    Thanks Fireman…. and goodnight, all.

Oh, and cool cows Bev….and thanks, Shika, from yesterday.

That “Brevity” comic on my profile page is one of my all-time favorites, from when Guy and Rodd still did the strip.

Totally natural, Tony. It was Fight or Flight, assaulted by those checkered shirts and polka dots.

Tony always has this problem when confronted with such a cacophony of color in cramped quarters. He own feeble attempts at sartorial sophistication are simply subverted by seeing such a selection shades and styles. His natural reaction is to hide !

My burning question is, what are those curved pieces of metal on Tony’s heels? Are they taps??!One of them appears ready to come off, and he seems to be wearing a hole in his right sole…Poor Tony! I agree with his choice of refuge… My Grandma had a sofa of a similar design (but in beige), and if my brother or cousins were pestering me when we were at her house, hiding behind the corner section was a good way to escape, if they didn’t see me go back there. It also provided an easily defensible place to be safe from throw pillow attacks!

THANKS, Bev,Well, the Jazz for Cows makes sense; I believe the resonance of that bass sax made a convincing mating call that would get their attention. THIS ONEmight do even better. I don’t know anyone now who plays (my dad played most horns).

That animation of the second one, with cow-spiders was just creative animation from the beginning. The last was good old school animation – with the Andrew Sisters, yet!
