1Golden Knot* is crafted with the juice of Chardonnay grapes and 100% wheat, intertwining a touch of tartness with apple and kiwi notes.*Previously known as Vintage Blonde Ale.
It sounds horrible!Kind of a Beer-wine, or Chardon-ale, or something… with extra fruit, even…. ick!Like the leftovers from a brewery, a winery, and the Snapple factory, mixed together.
I don’t think the Monkey would allow it here…. even if he DID once try to brew what he was going to call “Bananale.”
Nancy thinks, “I’m just not remembering names like I used to. Is my mind going? Last night I couldn’t remember Tony’s name for the longest time. I think he’s my husband. ..”
Well… if you’ve gone, I guess I will….just to make sure you see…..
I’d said to you, wow….
Your tribute pic made me search through my boxes of old photos….
and I found it!
OMG, how did you get the guys to pose exactly like that old photo from their trip to London??They must have brought you a copy….you’re much too young to have one from then….
But they did send one to me…. and they’ve hardly changed a bit!
Well… a bit…. or maybe a little more…. but well…. he hair and all…..but still…..
Nancy never should have signed up for that evening lecture series, “Tangle Theory: the Pretzel Link.” It was knot, as she had expected, another cozy cooking class with the girls.
Shame on you beviak ; ) my hubby nearly spit coffee on me while watching “Revenge of the Mail-cat” over my shoulder!
Shirley Temple was going to be the original Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz but she was owned by a different company and they would not let her do it so they went with Judy Garland and a very tight chest strap to make her look young pre puberty way.Leads to a good conversation……who would have made the better Dorothy…Temple or Garland???? I know Temple could dance and sing but she looked so mechanical to me and lacked the real empathy that Garland showed in the movie. This one could attribute to differences in ages Garland being the older more trained actress where Temple was still a child still building her emotional library.
@Bev, Did your parents also make you take lessons in tap and ballet dancing? Mine did my hair similarly (though it was never that abundant). Here with 2 cousins in about 1942: I’m just glad that Fox and 20th Century had that merger when they did, so my dad never got the movie contract he had agreed to.
My life has been quite crazy enough, thanks! And I agree with Veteran that Judy was a much better actress. Shirley was never anything but herself (as is clear in her acceptance speech posted above). But like most child stars, Judy was SO messed up!

She’s always so well-mannered and perfectly groomed….maybe even a bit strait-laced. I didn’t think she ever had knotty thoughts.

Would you like a beer while we solve this knotty problem?
I’d offer you a banana daiqiri but I know you prefer a brew.
How about some yak ribs?
And how about you, 2Old?
SusanSunshine Premium Member almost 11 years ago
And 2Old… let’s leave poor innocent tomatoes out of this.
You’ll make them blush.

He had the sense to pour it out… not sell it.
