I think the poor fella may need reading glasses to be able to read the paper…he looks like an older dog…
Sorry I missed all the excitement yesterday when you ladies were trying to catch Essex after his insulting Susan that way!
…I can’t make sense of why a Dr.would order lab work – with instructions for no food or liquids after midnight – have a lab tech try to draw 7 vials of blood, (I ran out of blood before the 7th was full, in spite of squeezing the little squishy ball),and be told I was dehydrated, and the Dr said I was anemic….(Go figure!)
reeding leff ta rite an top ta bottom mite werk fur GingeR butt..if’n it wuz Clovis’ dog (Wan Tu Pu) a chineeze hareless… well thats a dog ov a diffrent colur…. jus sayin’….oh… bTw… Ess aint comin round til he nose its safe… so ah herd….
Reports are coming in from all over Ballard St. Now that we know his latest disguise, Essex had been spotted at Stel’s Costume Annex corner this morning. The Sheriff got a report that Essex was in the park, right before lunch, and went over there to take a look, but just missed him as he passed by the Sheriff’s cruiser while the Sheriff was checking under the bridge! The most unbelievable miss, though, was Verla Hemelshot’s photo of Essex walking behind BatPug and me on S. Ballard St. after breakfast this morning! If I had only turned around…….!
StelBel – loved those pictures. So much in that last one – unbelievable!!Essex – didn’t like those Saudi guys checking you out, huh? Your new disguise is fencing…..er, I mean fetching. Beviek – Great comments. Now one of those Saudi guys hoola hooping would be fine if they would strip down just a little.
I’m not declaring absolutely that water is OK for your fasting tests….cos I’m not a doctor.
Of course you have to ask your lab tech….. (and yes, mine IS very sweet!) or your doctor…. just in case there’s something special about the test they’re giving you.
But for all mine, I now know I can drink all the plain water I want, even though no one had ever told me so for years! They just assume “everyone” knows it’s OK.In fact, I always go to the same lab, so ever since the day I fainted, they usually ask me “Did you drink lots of water?”
and 2Old…I know you were probably just being funny about the name (Hashimoto’s) ….but just in case there’s something more…..the Asian food reference was just a joke, wasn’t it?
And too bad they don’t make an anti-self-histamine, or something.
People with lupus and other autoimmune diseases could really use it too!
Stel…. He was right outside the Cement Store?? It sure looks like someone coulda nailed him!He shouldn’t be wearing that outfit if he’s not gonna be above board.

I was doing fasting tests just once a year until the vegetarian thing (then every 3rd month) but I never get dehydrated. Plain water is fine for me as long as it’s chilled (to drink just because). I can only swallow all my vitamins with room temperature liquids (hot or cold partially close my throat).
But seriously, I thought everyone knew that water does not count in a fast.

and also in Stel’s photos of Ballard Street and my police photo of Julie’s window (Well, BatPug sent it to me.)
It isn’t your everyday plaid sort of thing…. it’s…it’s….
Sigh…..Words fail me.

He might also like to have a nice cup of coffee with his paper.

Twinkly …. too long after the fact to help me the day I had a problem, a lab tech told me that no food or liquids doesn’t actually mean no water.
It sounds stupid that water doesn’t count as a liquid…. but in this case it doesn’t.
I’m supposed to drink a lot of it for fasting bloodwork.
I know you probably asked them already…. but if not, you might want to for next time.

Your Lab technician will know.

Happy… love the seductive coffee…though mine must be male.
A doctor said I should give it up….
I said "Are you crazy? "He actually laughed, and said “Yeah, I guess that won’t work.”
