I mean….. y.a.a.w.w.n.n…….don’t mean to wake anybody up…..I was napping cos I didn’t know Dry said we could come out…..And then I woke up, and found a whole buffet!Thanks, Dry and Jkiss!That was very nice.

Honestly, though….psstt…. over here…..…. you know I hate to say anything…but Bev started it.

As you can see, that award is fancier…

(Now if I were as talented as Stel, Ted would be wearing the crown, unfortunately I had to substitute some actor)

I’m glad Nancy gave the award to Ted today….especially if it makes him feel so much better.

But if I were Ted, I’d be asking myself a question…..and the answer might affect my mood in a different way.

“Ted,” I would say to myself….. cos, you know, ifI were Ted…then my name would be Ted, not Susan….

“Ted, old boy,” I would say… in a familiar sort of way…. “Just who do do you think wins that award… on the days when Nancy doesn’t give it to me? "

Cos you see, as for me, Susan, this time, I’ve never seen Nancy wearing that crown …. and really, I think it wouldn’t be sporting to award it to herself, anyway.

So if I were Ted, I would be really wondering, after 40 years of marriage, who else might be chosen, and probably more often than me, so far, as well….the “Best Person of the Day” in my wife Nancy’s mind.

StelBel….. I wanted to say yesterday, but I didn’t get back in time…so glad you posted that magazine.

I wanted to do it myself, you know…but my salon copy is awfully tattered, from clients thumbing through it.

I really don’t mind everybody reading it…unless they tear out pages…. which I think is rude….

I SURE I even bought several extra copies…but I should have put one upstairs just for me.

And now this is the only one I can find! Help!

Brrr – you know it’s chilly out when the front door is opened and the cat runs into the bedroom and hides under the covers! With wind chill, it’s currently -27C outside.

And, of course, because it’s so cold today, I have a doctor’s appointment.

Word travels fast on Ballard St.! Even on the east end of the street, it’s only 8am, and yet….all of Ballard St. knows that Ted is the Best Person of the Day ….today, TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2015!!!
