Sometimes the Men of Ballard defy description, it has to be the water.

“Now if he had just gone down and put the blasted boat in the water like I told him to do” thinks Janice.

Now that’s a boat ! Hey Ling, can we go for a ride?

Why did he start it?

Why, how else was it supposed to get going??

Rose says “it has to be the water” … but honestly, it’s the lack of water that seems to be Walter’s problem.

And Janice may have thought better of it…but please note… she is sitting in the boat.That’s something I love about Ballard Street…I mean, sure, there’s some marital strife…But mostly, the wives back their husbands in their wild flights of fancy and hare-brained schemes…or they might have some of their own….which are indulged by their spouses, as well.

On second thought ………….. why start it at all? Ever?

Surely Janice didn’t think that Walter would row the boat !

That is not a proper way to behave indoors!

Now they have to wait for the Coast Guard.Dead motor. Adrift in vastness of the living room.He is going to get so written up for not having the proper flotation devices available for all.All this and no paddles.
