I don’t want to be a neighsayer, but getting into the saddle will be no cinch.

Roy saw how big Herb’s horse is, and suddenly has feelings of inadequacy. Herb was way more popular is High School than he was and “bigger” always was a sticking point.

DIY equestrianism has long been a popular hobby around here…

Some of the mounts even have moving parts….

But, sadly, some never get the hang of it….

Oh well, lots to do in Ballard County….Neal can always go in for flower arranging or join the Rodent Club

He should start with his left foot on that bottom step.

I see however Herb is prepared for a day out on the range. He brought his comb and hanky in his back pocket. Now in the background a song…..Cowboy Song“Roll me over and turn me around. Let me keep spinning till I hit the ground. Roll me over and let me go. Riding free with the buffalo.” Cue the lead guitar……..Nothing like a little Thin Lizzy to greet ones day.Hey, I could have gone with Kid Rock…..Cowboy.Or worse Dallas Cowboys.

Until I read the comments and saw all the pictures, I didn’t realize Ballard County was such a horsey place. So probably just a matter of time before someone has a higher horse to get on than Herb.

And as yet no-one has mentioned the lack of stirrups!

Shouldn’t his high horse be positioned on some downtown street corner, preferably atop a couple of soap boxes?
