If he starts talking politics, she’ll lower the boom.

Gordon better do his thinking outside of the box.

There once was a Ballard gal, Joyce.

Who kept her “response” on a hoist.

And for poor Gordon there,

it just isn’t fair.

From Joyce and her joist he gets foist…

The age-old struggle between the introvert and the extravert. My parent’s and my sister’s marriage is that mix. The trick is to respect what the other one needs to be happy.

Mrs. Baker finds it easier just to ignore me. Fewer pulleys required.

The box looks hollow.. if Joyce was truly fed up it (the box) would be filled with stones.

Joyce used to be a librarian.

Joyce is a methane collector, and in that carton—well we know what Gordie will be doing!

Gordon will sound like he’s in an echo chamber if Joyce lowers that box.
