Next week, if this goes well, he’ll venture out to the backyard.

Now I know why Clayton is carrying a big stick when he retrieves the morning paper off the front porch.

I’m super curious as to what’s to the right of the trees.

For authenticity, he put a recording of hoot owl on endless loop.

Sleeping on the floor makes him think he hears scurrying….

and he just realised he forgot to borrow a watchcat.

A wise move Clayton.. keeping the light on will keep the roaches away.

“The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep."

    I typed that

Listen, Clayton, using the props from the toy train set does NOT – I repeat NOT – lend an air of authenticity to your campsite.

A note to my fellow Ballardeers; I am having major, 911-level problems with my computer. I may be scarce over the next couple of weeks as I need to get a new one, transfer files, etc. This one could give up the ghost at any moment.
