Even the floor lamp isn’t plugged in.

Yes indeed, Gloria fancies up the lamp, the stool, and her neck ware. She does not need to please anyone but herself.

I happen to know Gloria is loaded… she is just cheap.

It don’t take much. Ayup.

Ummm, not so fancy when she’s sitting on a stool, instead of a cushy chair….that’s Ballard St for ya!

I just want to know how she’s gonna get up from that stool. Think she hires a nice young thing?

With a good book and an active mind.. you don’t even need much fancy.

Seems to me that “Fancy Simple” is an oxymoron (not that I’m impugning Glorious Gloria in any way)… ☺

There’s a children’s book called FANCY NANCY that celebrates little girls who love frilly stuff, and it’s become a sort of movement. Hopefully, the little girls choose it rather than the mothers. I HATED frilly stuff. Still do. I have a memory over 60 years old about a polka dot dress made of scratchy material I had to wear to church. I never forgave my mom for that horrible experience.

Life is what you make it.

I like Gary Larson. I really do. – But I already read his website from day one and don’t need my comics-list be overshadowed by the not-so-new news!!!
