The Carlisles understood how to have a stylish quarantine even before there was a quarantine.

I don’t believe any errors were made in the place settings.

A bottle of wine lasts longer this way, too.

The next step is to have a dinner party by Zoom.

if you have ever eaten Carmella’s cooking you would understand the dummy guests. Nobody in their right mind would accept an invitation.

Between the “2 buck chuck”. And her weird seasoning ( come on, anchovies in the apple pan dowdy?) and Crispin going on and on about steam engines being the next big thing, well……

There may be a pandemic going on….

but Oliver is the very picture of good health.

I can’t quite see Arielle… but her looks never seem to fade… I bet she’s wearing the same bright smile as last time I saw her.

None of them are wearing masks because Oliver and Arielle have already been hanging around at Carmella and Crispin’s house so much.

In fact, they may be staying in the spare bedroom.

    I don’t think they care about Carmella’s cooking…

They don’t really come for the food.

    They’re so thin!

Some people think they’re shallow… but they have deeper layers, I know.

When Oliver first got framed in that securities deal, he tried to put on a good face…

But underneath, he was actually the picture of despair.

He was up against the wall!

But Crispin stood by him… and when the frame was uncovered… and he was vindicated,,,

it was Crispin and Carlotta who uncorked the champagne.

    Unfortunately, I think tonight’s guests are a little board…

Those are the best kind… no embarrassing issues about when it’s time to go home.. or, who takes the leftover wine.

A candlelight supper at the Carlisles! Hyacinth Bucket is probably green with envy.

Surely some effort went into making the posters.
