Molly, instead of investing in new shoes on a weekly basis, invest in some Duke training. Or maybe a bulked-up dog walker.
The squirrels secretly love it. They can elude Duke for hours and the occasional shoe makes for a comfy bed.
On the plus side, Molly stays much more fit than any of her friends who only go to a gym.
Nothing abnormal here.
SQUIRREL!
I had a dog like that. When he wanted to go, he went! I couldn’t hang on to the leash for love nor money.
Moly deliberately avoids walks where they have rose bush hedges..
Actually, the neighbor hood is complaining about the lack of squirel’s in the park!
Exercise is good for the brain.
A poorly trained dog. The only time little me has ever been dragged like that was by a frightened 600 pound horse. Never a dog, even the St. Bernard.
In one of Robert Rankin’s books, old Pete has a dog whose breed was described as “Lurcher”. Now I understand what he meant.
Just stay away from Happy x 3’s hedge! :)
As can my walks with Moxie. Even at 13 she still likes to chase those tree rats.
Molly keeps fit, but replacing her shoes is costly.
Perhaps a squirrel free area Molly?
