Sounds about like our 75 cent rag. Small towns: who needs a newspaper?

The trick in a small town is to visit the post office once or twice a day. That way you’ll know everything that needs to be known.

I grew up - small town - with the Delaware Gazette - popularly know as the Delaware Gazoot or the Daily Mistake. Anyone familiar with Jan Karon’s books need only refer to her desciptions of the Mitford paper to get an idea of what ours was like.

Ahh, the Mitford Muse! I love those books! Our paper is about the same - out on Mon, Wed & Fri. If someone dies on Friday, nobody knows about it until Mon after the funeral is already over! I love this story line with Bob Walker’s sister.

Even in a small town, you need a sports page.

@POPPA, not so: in a small town, the front page is the place for sports!
