Maybe Doris is lucky and related to my family. We don’t get poison ivy, oak or sumac. Made it much easier being a kid.

Decades ago, someone who later became a neighbor burned poison ivy. His wife unfortunately got in the way of the smoke/fumes, and became extraordinarily sick.

I never had poison ivy until last summer and I’m 51. On my hands, arms, stomach and somewhere else too personal too mention.
