This has nothing to do with today’s strip, but I recommend that everyone test their outlets for proper grounding.
This is an important issue for us guitarists, as an improperly grounded amp can kill. And there are typically no warning signs. The amp will work un-grounded, but if you are in contact with the strings and provide a route to ground with your body……zap.

Yeah that drives me nuts. Especially when you turn the appliance on and the outlet lights on fire (that actually happened to me a couple of times).
