Funny, I was just remembering earlier today a “Doonesbury” strip where a McFriendly’s employee asks the same question and the customer gets snide. But that wasn’t the main punchline.
Duane is overreacting, but seeing a waiter come over every 5 minutes to ask “how’s the food, sir?” or some other thing while I am eating annoys me very much.
