I work for a small company. Most of our staff is white, but mixed in terms of sexual orientation. We hire minorities but most leave for different jobs after a year or so. I don’t think we show prejudice against them though. I think they are just more ambitious as there is little opportunity for advancement and they leave in order to pursue better job opportunities while the whites are just happy to be employed and aren’t as interested in career advancement. My location has 6 staff of whom 5 have been with the company for over 6 years and our only minority staff person started with us about 2 months ago.
