    Free range locust sounds good on the package, but the money is in containment locust feedlots. Castration, branding, and insemination in the spring is easier at the farm than around the campfire on the open range.

    locust are grasshoppers no genetic difference. Grasshoppers will under certain conditions become gregarious and swarm.

    It’s not self-sustaining if there’s nothing left for the locusts to eat.
