I loved our Falcons – a 66, a 69 and a 70 1/2 (the base model Fairlane/Torino). Many very cool/successful drag cars were modified Falcons. The original Rancheros were Falcons.
Not to show my comic book nerd flag too much – but the Falcon in the comic books from the 70’s was mutant that had a psychic connection to Redwing his falcon. That was about his only power as the wings were mechanical. Plus he was something like a social worker(?) I don’t remember the exact profession – but he wasn’t a soldier. Oh, and his best friend not named Steve Rogers was a white street cop.

Even 2nd (3rd?) time around, these still make me smirk by the 3rd panel, and laugh by the 4th. I miss Basic Instructions!

He could also sport a model of the Millennium Falcon.

I remember there was this mouse character who had a pet dog, and also a friend who was a dog.

And what if he had been born in Malta?

You know, a Mustang was originally just a Falcon with a shrunken, less useful body.
