Yes Virginia, there really is such a thing as pizza that is so bad you won’t eat it.

Ironing board hanger broke; I designed & printed a new one faster than the round trip to Lowes. Dozens of the storage hooks hanging in the basement, pegboard hooks, phone charging stands, ad infinitum. Circular knitting needles for my lovely wife, a laminar flow hose nozzle, Fidget spinners, and a Hair snagging drain unclogger (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1212451). Even replacement parts for one of my old 3-d printers. Playing around now with a special extruder to print models made of chocolate.

The filter for my old Sanyo vacuum cleaner is no longer stocked anywhere, and I’ve repaired it too many times already. I’m thinking of taking it to a 3d printing place in town to see if they can replicate it.

It could be worse. NASA could have decided to give Space Food Sticks another try.

They aren’t that complex. A lot of people have built their own.

The tech has improved immensely since this strip was written… now you can buy 3D printed chicken breasts…

    Just because pizza is thin doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a 3rd dimension. Paper has a thickness too, 8 1/2 × 11 × .003″
