Variously known as the Scorpion and the frog or the turtle or the fox. Scorpion hitches a ride across a river after promising not to sting the carrier. Halfway through he stings anyway, the carrier asks, “why did you do that? Now we’ll both drown.”
The drowning scorpion responds: “It’s just my nature.”
I guess it’s just the nature of woman and snake to be this way.
