Doctors live on stress. That pill would starve them to death.

Thanks to the laziness of HMO doctors who just want to bandage symptoms, I am just finding out now I have final stage liver cancer and advanced cirrhosis. I have been trying to convince them for years to dig deeper than high blood pressure and sleep apnea. Now, after losing my job, The VA is doing what doctors are supposed to, but it’s a little late. I’m hoping I have three months left. I have to figure out how my wife can keep the house, I have to try to finish up home improvement projects I have started, despite the fact it hurts to live, much less move. I don’t care so much that I’m dying, I just hate leaving the wife and kids hanging like this on such short notice. Thank you, Corporate Doctors. Hope you don’t miss your tee time.

In N.A. there is NO money to be made in healthy patients!!!! Even in healthcare(?), no “medicine-care”, profits rule. That is WHY universal health-care must be taken away from companies….

Don’t market it to doctors.Market it to the sickUnless government stops you, all will be well.(Literally)?Edison invented many things over his lifetime. One thing he could not sell, though, was a voting machine which couldn’t be made to lie.The people in office were the ones buying — or in his case NOT buying — the machines which decided how the people voted. He vowed to not invent anything else which wasn’t wanted..In Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Carson Napier on Venus, the people gave Carson a treatment, explaining he would have been dead within a hundred years or two without it. They couldn’t imagine such short lives..Which brings up the thought that insurance companies would buy the above pill. Imagine an annual medical bill of $3 and a life insurance payout after 700 years..And to be honest, doctors would snap it up.“Doctor Smith couldn’t cure you? Go to Dr. Jones. He cured me with a single pill.”Further, doctors and their families and friends get sick too..This is why it is silly to think doctors don’t want cures for the things which kill them too.

Insurance companies and lawyers tell doctors how to practice medicine.

We’ll pay for this procedure (the cheapest whether it works or not) but not that one (the one the patient might really need). I got caught up in this one with a shot I needed for my knee.

Cortisone shots do not work for me. My doctor told me that I’d have to get a cortisone shot and live with the pain for another month before the insurance company would pay for the shots that do work. Then if I come back within 12 months I could resume my treatment. If I waited longer than 12 months, I’d have to go the cortisone route again.

The first time I went 22 months before needing more treatment. However, I had to start with the cortisone again. From there on, I got the other set of shots every 12 months whether I needed them or not. Just doing my part to keep down the cost of medicine.

My wife watched as a woman in labor demanded that she have natural childbirth. Her vaginal opening was too small and the doctor recommended a C-Section. She refused, so they called in a lawyer at 2 AM to have her sign the waivers.

Besides ruining her own body, the child had a birth defect caused by the extended labor. She tried suing over it, but the judge threw the case out. Nonetheless, the hospital had to send its lawyers to court.
