Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Plods with Beer: thanks for the warning, I do love seeing the comments section fill up, even if itās not always gushing compliments. At least people are reading, right?
Also, I wanted to inform all of you that I am working very hard on updating the archives, so that you can go back and see the whole story. Beardo is the kind of strip that is self-contained but also has an overarching story. And of course, I want you to experience as much of that as you can handle, so keep a lookout in the coming days for the filling of archives.
Dan, Iām new to the strip since it joined Gocomics, but it looks great so far. Are these new strips or are you replaying the strips from Sherpa? Iām just curious because todayās strip is very timely.
Most of the strips Iām showing now havenāt been shown on Sherpa, or ā if they have ā have only been shown recently. Youāll be seeing a lot of new content here.
dave hussell, the program that I am just starting to familiarize myself with (LOTS of nuances) is Manga Studio Debut 4. They have a more expensive (with conversely more features) version (Manga Studio EX) but I think the cheaper version has lots of cool stuff (like complete control over word balloons and a large variety of printable tones that can be easily applied to your charactersā ). āComic Lifeā is a fairly good program for putting finishing touches on comics (such as creating any size panels and word balloons ) but you have to load in your finished artwork from another program, like Corel Painter, which is a pretty cool program too, in conjunction with your wacom.
For the time being, it wonāt, since Iāve drawn a LOT of comics you havenāt seen yet. But in the future, possibly yes. Again, itās hard because no matter what I do with the font, itās upsetting part of my audience.

sorry about the personal note, everybody. Dave asked me a question yesterday.

I think the big question from newbies is if the font size is going to come down to something less overbearing?
