    An oft repeated myth.

“over a hundred” is an exaggeration. Just like we say “fluffy snow,” they have a word for fluffy snow.

If it were snowing here, I’d be facing away from the window and NOT going out in it.

If it were snowing, I’d hire the kid down the street to shovel my walk for me. Ben must be a cheap old fart.

    Snow is a four-letter word.

When it snows, my neighbor and I have a friendly competition to see who can shovel the front sidewalk first – it’s a short block with just 2 houses on it, and whichever of us is up first usually shovels the whole stretch. I’m 55, Loren has (I think) about 15 years on me, and neither of us complain about the early morning exercise. Then again, I live in Vancouver (snow, what is that?).
