‘Cause you’re dressed like me for the last two days and nights! Currently 16F with a North wind at 9 mph. Feels like 5F. Just saw a pic on another site showing a temp in Alaska of -74F…………
These days when it’s below zero I have to put boots on my dog because it’s just too cold for his feet. So far I haven’t been able to find any that will stay on more than a half mile.
Back in the 70s, we had a Samoyed dog that loved to be outdoors in winter, she would refuse to come in. So the next winter I built a big pen with an insulated dog house, of course she slept on the top of it, especially when it snowed. After a snowfall, when I would be shovelling the driveway she would lay in front of the shovel until I would pick her up and throw her in the snow, this would go on for as long as I shovelled, needless to say it took a long time to do the driveway. BTW she was a 70 LB dog, so I got double the exercise on those days. Happy memories.
Watching a guy walk his dog this morning in the snow. The dog keeps stopping and sniffing and the guy keeps pulling him along. Dog seems to love it out there.

My dog loves the snow and cold. Strong wind is ugly – but otherwise I love it, and we go for long walks !
