Surely she means once with sincerity. That could take some time or may never happen!

It wasn’t Alex’s fault. It was her job, and she didn’t have a choice who she fired. I get why Betty feels betrayed, but I agree with Alex; they need to move on.

Watch out Betty! Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Right now, the count is one. So look out!

While I believe in forgiveness I can see why Betty might not want to be best friends again. It would take time before you could trust that person again.

I don’t see why having to be best friends again is necessary. Moving on means leaving your old friends in the rearview and new friends in the windshield. Working together does not necessarily make friends.

Yeah, well I’m a Republican, and like I have said for the what, past 2 days, LET’S NOT FORGET WHO GOT BEYOTCH ALEX THE JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE! FInd a way to “stick it back to her”, Betty. She sure deserves it!

I think Betty meant “Once, and mean it”.
