That’s the problem with calling the making of crafty junk “recycling.”It may be cute, it may be fun to do… but if it only has a 6 month lifespan after that, you’re not recycling.
ie “27 Projects for Recycling old Jam Jars”…“Recycle those Aluminum Pie Pans into Cute Halloween Decorations .”There was even a contest at our county fair involving making something decorative out of plastic bottles,You HAD a box of readily recyclable glass… or a pile of relatively clean paper… whatever…Now you’ve glued unlike things together with toxic chemicals, making it hard to separate some day into components to reuse…and mucked it all up with paint, glitter, buttons and bits of plastic….
You just turned 2 pounds of currently re-usable materials into 4 pounds of future landfill.

I just leave the magazine I’m finished with in waiting rooms, etc.

I think those are adorable! I’ve been looking for new ways to decorate for Christmas. The creators of this comic should post instructions!
