I’m finding Y’tubers who normally post about their travels having the same problem. Some still travel but not as much and don’t explore as much. They post more about how to afford things and gadgets they prefer and maintenance of said gear.
I guess it’s a plus that my wife changed jobs and we moved. There’s always things to do to a new place or arrange to have done – ‘weed’ trees go in late next month.

I think a good end-of-year letter would be:“I won’t bore you with news of what WE did this year if you won’t bore me with news of what YOU did. Deal?”
