if it is a process for you to write down what you are grateful for then you truly don’t have the slightest clue what being grateful really means!
Alex’s journal is going to get so full of her “gratitude” it is likely to burst into flames.
If she’s making those ‘scritch scritch’ noise with a fountain pen then she is not holding it properly with respect to the quality of the paper in the journal. Or she’s mad. And switch to a ballpoint out of respect to the fountain pen.
