Being retired, I go through life avoiding the crises of my youth and aim for pleasant times. I thought fun was for the young until this past summer when ours great grandkids finally got past the Covid restrictions and came to visit. They had super soakers and I challenged them to battle…I had the garden hose…and I couldn’t stop laughing. Fun? WOW!!!
I play video games with my sweetheart, often MMOs. I am slightly amused by people who get so wrapped up in leveling fast and Not Wasting Time. Unless they are a professional gamer, the entire reason to play is to have an amusing way to Waste Time, have fun with friends, solve some puzzles. If they aren’t having fun, they are playing the wrong game!
